About AgendaX.
AgendaX is a reputation intelligence and crisis response firm for African companies, starting in Lagos. Our product, Triage Engine, spots the early signs of a reputational crisis, scores how serious they are, and has a drafted response ready before a journalist calls.
Why we built it
In Nigeria a bad week rarely starts in the newspapers. It starts as a handful of angry posts about a failed transfer, a forum thread, a short video. By the time it reaches the front page, the story already has a shape the company didn't choose.
The tools that watch for this are built for American and British English. They miss Pidgin and sarcasm, and they stop at detection or a score: someone still has to notice, decide and write. Most growing Nigerian companies can't keep a full-time crisis communications team on standby either.
So we built the early-warning system and the response unit together, for the companies that need them most and can least afford to get it wrong.
Where we come from
Our founders come from cybersecurity, software engineering and brand storytelling. Reputation risk and security risk follow the same pattern: learn what normal looks like, notice when something departs from it, and respond with discipline. Triage Engine applies the way security teams watch for intrusions to the way a story spreads.
We are not a PR agency and we are not a social media manager. You work directly with the people building the company.
How we work
- In the open. The risk score is a set of published rules, not a black box. How it works explains every part, including what it can't do yet.
- People approve, software assists. A person at AgendaX reviews every response before a client sees it, and nothing is ever published from Triage Engine.
- Security first. We never sell client data. Our security page sets out where it lives and who can see it.
“Your agenda. Our command.” We exist so that businesses never lose a narrative they could have controlled. We prepare the message before the moment, and we stand with our clients when the moment arrives.
